A Real Connection Between Diet and Acne?

Many in the medical community continue to hold the view that diet and acne are not related, but I fear that I must differ. If you suffer from acne it’s because your body has a low tolerance for certain chemicals and/or hormones that are present inside of you, and is using sebum oil in an attempt to get rid the excess. Do your seriously think that adding more of these chemicals that are in processed food won’t kick your acne into hyperdrive?

Most of us first experience acne during our teenage years. Your hormone levels jump to excessive levels and your body is sending the overload out through your skin emulsified in sebum oil. This is the root of all pimple formation.

The thing is, if you’re already overloaded with hormones, do you think it wise to add more? Eating or drinking any dairy product will do that very thing. The glass of milk you had at breakfast this morning contains fifty nine different hormones plus saturated animal fats and steroids. Any decent acne diet will stress the elimination of dairy from your diet.

Adult acne is simply a continuation of teen acne, except the cause is usually the chemicals used in processed foods rather than hormones. Your system views these chemicals the same way that it saw the hormones of your youth. It emulsifies the chemicals in sebum and sends it out, starting pimple formation.

An effective diet for acne prone skin will eliminate chemical laden processed foods from your diet in order to stop acne formation before it begins.

These examples indicate that, no matter what others may have told you, there is an absolute link between diet and acne. Always remember that the root of your acne is on the inside. Eliminate the internal cause, and the external result will go away naturally.
